MAURIZIO PARISI, flauto dolce
E’ nato a Palermo. Si è diplomato con il massimo dei voti in flauto dolce al Conservatorio Vincenzo Bellini del capoluogo siciliano, sotto la guida di Piero Cartosio. Studia anche con Amico Dolci, Dario Lo Cicero e Giorgio Matteoli. Dal 1995 al 2003 frequenta i corsi di flauto dolce e musica d'insieme del Festival Internazionale di Musica Antica di Polizzi Generosa e delle Madonie. Nel luglio 2002 partecipa alla masterclass di Daniel Brüggen a Urbino e nel luglio del 2005 a quella di Dan Laurin a Bolzano per Antiqua.bz, del quale seguirà successivamente la masterclass tenuta al Conservatorio di Vicenza nel marzo del 2006. Ha frequentato il triennio di Musica d'Insieme per Strumenti Antichi del Conservatorio di Palermo curato da Andrea Fossà. Nel luglio 2002 è a Urbino, dove suona nell’Orchestra della Federazione Italiana Musica Antica diretta da Enrico Gatti. Nel settembre 2004 è al Festival delle Nazioni di Città di Castello in Umbria e al Festival di Erice, partecipando alle rappresentazioni del Vespro Solenne dalla “Selva Morale e spirituale” di Claudio Monteverdi con l’Orchestra e il Coro dello Studio di Musica Antica "Antonio Il Verso" diretto da Gabriel Garrido. Nel 2007 partecipa alla rappresentazione della Dafne di Marco da Gagliano insieme all’ensemble Antonio il Verso, all’interno del prestigioso Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. Svolge un intensa attività concertistica come solista, in duo e in vari gruppi di musica da camera. esibendosi in Italia e all’estero, Germania (Stuttgart, Berlin, Hamburg), Estonia (Tallin), Gran Bretagna (Londra, Cambridge), Canada (Toronto). Ha collaborato con l’Orchestra Barocca Siciliana "Les Elements" e con lo Studio di Musica Antica "Antonio Il Verso". E' membro fondatore del Daphne Recorder Quartet. Si dedica prevalentemente al repertorio dal primo al tardo barocco, eseguendo originali per flauto dolce o trascrizioni, così come al repertorio contemporaneo originale per flauto dolce. Suona su copie di strumenti originali. Attualmente è docente di flauto dolce presso il liceo musicale “Regina Margherita” di Palermo.
He was born in Palermo. He graduated with honors in flute at the Conservatorio Vincenzo Bellini in Palermo, Sicily, under the guide of Piero Cartosio. He studied with Amico Dolci, Dario Lo Cicero and Giorgio Matteoli. From 1995 to 2003 he attended courses in flute and music ensemble of the International Festival of Early Music of Polizzi Generosa and Madonie. In July 2002 he took part in the masterclass by Daniel Brüggen in Urbino, and in July of 2005 to that of Dan Laurin in Bolzano for Antiqua.bz, which will follow after the masterclass held at the Conservatory of Vicenza in March 2006. He attended three years of Ancient Instruments Ensemble of the Conservatory of Palermo by Andrea Fossà. In July 2002, he was in Urbino, where he played in the Orchestra of the Italian Federation of Ancient Music directed by Enrico Gatti. In September 2004 he’s in the Festival of Nations in Città di Castello in Umbria and in the Festival of Erice, participating in performances of the Solemn Vespers "Selva Morale and spiritual" by Claudio Monteverdi with the Orchestra and Chorus of the Study of Ancient Music "Antonio Il Verso" directed by Gabriel Garrido. In 2007 participates in the representation of Dafne by Marco da Gagliano with the ensemble Antonio Il Verso, in the prestigious Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. He Plays an intense concert activity as soloist, in duo and in various chamber music groups, performing in Italy and abroad, such as Germany (Stuttgart, Berlin, Hamburg), Estonia (Tallinn), Britain (London, Cambridge), Canada (Toronto). He cooperated with the Sicilian Baroque orchestra "Les Elements" and the Study of Ancient Music "Antonio Il Verso". He’s the founding member of the Daphne Recorder Quartet. It is mainly devoted to the repertoire from the Baroque to the late first, performing original compositions or arrangements for recorder, as well as original contemporary music for recorder. He sounds of copies of original instruments. He currently is teaching flute at the music school "Regina Margherita" in Palermo.
